KA awarded EUR 12 mill. (NOK112 mill.) Shift By Wire contract in Japan

Kongsberg Automotive’s (KA) Driveline business area has received nomination from a Japanese OEM for the supply of Shift By wire shifters for B-segment cars to be sold in Asia.

The contract has an estimated total value of EUR 12 million (NOK112 million) over 6 years. Production under the contract will start at the end of 2017 from Kongsberg Automotive’s facility in Gurgaon, India.
