Bengt Halse nominated for the Laurels Trophy

Bengt Halse, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Saab Group, has been nominated as one of the candidates for the Laurels Trophy by the American aviation magazine "Aviation Week & Space Technology".

This is the forty-second occasion that the magazine has nominated candidates in a number of classes for the prestigious award. Bengt Halse has been nominated in the class "Aeronautics/Propulsions" on the motivation that as President of Saab he succeeded in making the company one of the most important actors in the aviation and defense industry. The winners will be announced on 21 April at a ceremony in Washington.

"The nomination is a great honor, naturally for me personally, but especially for all the personnel at Saab," comments Bengt Halse.
