Tomas Samuelsson new President of Saab Bofors Dynamics

Tomas Samuelsson, currently President of the Infantry business unit within Saab Bofors Dynamics, has been appointed to succeed Ingemar Andersson as President of the company. He will assume his new post in the new year.

Samuelsson, 50, is an engineering graduate from Chalmers University of Technology with a long career in the former Bofors/Celsius Group. Positions have included finance manager, production manager and General Manager.

"I see this as an exciting and responsible challenge. I am very proud of how well our company has developed since starting up just over three years ago. We have enjoyed considerable success on the export market. I am very pleased to be entrusted with the task of continuing to develop this fine company," says Tomas Samuelsson.

As advised previously, Ingemar Andersson has already started as Executive Vice President of Saab AB, and he will also be Chairman of the Board of Saab Bofors Dynamics AB in the future.

Saab is one of the world’s leading high-technology companies, with its main operations focusing on defence, aviation and space. The group covers a broad spectrum of competence and capabilities in systems integration.
