Saab Aircraft Leasing Announces Launch Customer for Saab 340 Cargo Version

Saab Aircraft Leasing recently delivered the first Saab 340 Cargo version aircraft to launch customer Castle Aviation of Akron/Canton, Ohio.

The aircraft will be used for on-demand freight charter business as Castle continues its growth in this niche market.

"The Saab will fit in a unique role between the Falcon 20 and Convair 580 and allow an operator to play an economical ad hoc role to the cargo industry," said Castle Aviation President Michael Grossmann.

Welcoming the launch customer for the Saab 340 Cargo version, SAL President and CEO Michael Magnusson noted, "We are delighted to have such an established and growing company to operate the aircraft in this unique freight forwarding role."
