Saab to shed 25 personnel in Eskilstuna
Saab has today given notice affecting 25 people at the Saab Bofors Dynamics production unit in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
The move follows a period of low incoming bookings which is not deemed temporary.
“It is regrettable to have to adapt resources to the lower production levels we view as realistic for the unit in Eskilstuna. We will be working on individual solutions to mitigate the effects for each co-worker,” says Alberto Morello, production manager at Saab Bofors Dynamics.
Negotiations with the relevant union organizations will begin next week. Approximately 60 people currently work in production at Saab Bofors Dynamics in Eskilstuna.
