Saab Aerotech secures spares flow at Colgan Air with a new 5 year support solution

Saab Aerotech has entered into a new 5 year spares support agreement with Colgan Air Inc. of Manassas, Virginia. The contract is valued at over 30 Million USD and will provide Colgan Air flexibility to meet their market needs.

The support agreement provided to Colgan Air covers nearly 500 different components installed in their fleet of 38 Saab 340A and 340B aircraft. By using Saab’s proven program, Colgan Air dramatically reduces their required inventory investment, a significant cost savings given their large fleet size. Saab’s service commitment is also scalable which makes fleet adjustments easier for Colgan.

Marty Schultz, President of Saab Aerotech’s U.S. Office comments, “We are extremely pleased to have Colgan Air as a long term partner and look forward to serving them in the years to come.”
