LOT Polish Airlines and Saab Aerotech sign Component Maintenance Agreement for Embraer ERJ145 aircraft
LOT Polish Airlines has chosen to extend the scope of the existing component maintenance repair & overhaul covering its fleet of ERJ145 aircraft to a complete component maintenance solution agreement. The contract is valued at approximately 30 MSEK over the term of the agreement.
Saab Aerotech has provided component services on ad hoc basis to LOT Polish Airline’s ERJ145 operation for several years. In an expanded agreement, LOT has now chosen to extend this successful relationship. LOT’s new support solution comprises a total component maintenance program, including MRO and component engineering services for the entire ERJ145 fleet at the airline.

LOT Polish Airlines is a joint-stock company founded after transforming a state-owned company of the same name on 29 December 1992.
The main shareholders are the State Treasury (67.97%), the receiver in bankruptcy SAirLines B.V. (25.1%) and the employees (6.93 %).
In 2005 the airline carried more than 4 million passengers. The fleet consists of more than fifty aircraft, including Boeing 767/737, Embraer 170/175 and ERJ145.
