Combat Management Systems for "Visby" class corvettes

Today, CelsiusTech Systems AB signed an agreement with FMV (the Defence Materiel Administration) for production of Combat Management Systems (CMS) to be used on the two most recently ordered corvettes of the "Visby" class. The contract is valued at about SEK 220 million and includes both systems for the two "Visby" class vessels and signal surveillance systems for "Stockholm" class corvettes.

FMV has thereby exercised an option from an earlier order and ordered a total of seven CMS (9LV CETRIS) for "Visby" and "Stockholm" class corvettes, including development, testing, documentation and training of instructors and users.

The systems will be delivered during the period 2005-2008. Delivery will be coordinated with onboard installation as each vessel undergoes commissioning trials.
