Lennart Sindahl new member of Saab Group Management

Lennart Sindahl takes over as head of the Aeronautics business segment and becomes part of Saab’s Group Management from the 1st of January 2008. He succeeds Ian McNamee who is leaving Saab in the spring.

As head of the segment Lennart Sindahl will have responsibility for Gripen International, Saab Aerostructures, Saab Aerosystems and Saab Aircraft Leasing business units. He has been Business unit manager of Saab Aerosystems since 2003.

Recruitment for a successor at Saab Aerosystems is underway. Lennart Sindahl takes up his new post on the 1st of January but will remain as Business unit manager for Aerosystems until his successor is in place.

Saab Business Segments consist of, ‘Defence & Security Solutions’, ‘System & Products’ and ‘Aeronautics’.
